Стукали перснями на пальцях, руків’ями мечів, стукали гілками і вітром, стукали пташками і хрущами, кликали всіма мовами і голосами. Я підводився і йшов до вікна. Воно розчахувалося, і Арканум мене втягував у себе, засмоктував і впорядковував моє життя. Арканумська мова пробивалася крізь мою, наче стебла трав крізь пісок, проламувала пам’ять, зливалася з моєю.
